Making Ancestral Memories Meaningful
Art · Memory · Identity · Future
Our Foundation
Rooted in memory.
Creating for the future.
Krokus Rootz Art Collective was founded by four Antiguan artists who returned home with diverse creative and life experiences. Together they explore how art can reconnect people with cultural memory, strengthen identity, and inspire new ways of seeing ourselves and our future.
Their work draws direct lines between contemporary Antiguan life and the ancestral African traditions that remain visible throughout the Caribbean — grounding a shared practice in memory while building toward what comes next.

Meet the Artists
Rootz Krokus is not just a name. It is a philosophy. We are grounded in ancestral knowledge while looking toward the future. Our work creates space for people to remember, question, celebrate, and rebuild connections to the stories and memories that shaped us.
